Buying a home after a divorce,what are my rights?

I was divorced 5 years ago and am now in a position where I have repaired my credit enough to buy a home with my new wife. My concern is that my ex wife will have some rights to my new home. For instance, that her debts from our marriage can be leveraged against my new home or that if we sell the new home one day and make a profit, that this would effect my income and or child support. Does anyone know the laws and or things I should be aware of moving forward? I live in Florida.
