Meaning of "leverage"?

It means "raises it into position(the value of the port)". It is slightly awkward usage, but that's fine since the terms of reference are somewhat abstractions in themselves. Imagine a model of the port as representative of its worth . Now imagine you getting firm footing and using a long sturdy piece of lumber (a board) to act as a lever. MIDI control of Pro Tools LE Impossible?

Having just learned there is no "MIDI Learn" feature in Pro Tools version 7, and being unable to get any answer for this question on the Avid forums I wonder if there is simply NO way to use an external MIDI controller to control the volume faders in Pro Tools LE 7. Of course, under the midi 'preferences' menu, two models of controllers are listed for immediate compatibility, both of which cost around $1800. So when I asked a Guitar Center rep why these inexpensive controllers (like the Korg nano-kontrol) are being sold when they don't even work with Pro Tools without having to perform a complex mapping procedure to imitate the expensive mackie controllers "personality", a procedure that seems to require the MIDI learn function- the G.C. rep's answer was that spending thousands of dollars is the only way to interface an external controller with pro-tools. This is unacceptable, especially in light of the fact that my Alesis QX49 controller easily controls the Sonik Synth plugin (which has a feature allowing me to change the CC# of each volume knob). It's just hard for me to believe that Pro Tools does not have the ability to midi map each volume fader and I'm hoping someone knows of another way to do this.

I have this weird talent to manipulate people. It started when I was a kid. I used to talk my way through my parents and get what I want out of them even though it seems unreasonable and irresponsible of my parents. Add mist wurm and brionac. I run a different Fish OTK which is when you bring out two fishborg and two Oyster Miester with coelacanth and you sync them for diffrent OTKs. It's one of the more popular ones but you still have a good deck but mabey take out a few traps.

I agree let another race dance for a while. I personally would not mine being asian lol. Tragus or industrial?

Industrial. I have had this done for almost a month now and mine is completely fine, I can already sleep on it and its healing really well. Everyone I know with tragus piercings has had an infection in them at some point. I also have spiderbites and a nose piercing, and a microdermal in my chest. My nose piercing healed best and I love it. I think a nose piercing would suit you. :)

Well .. for a random deck it's pretty good , some rare cards that are powerful and you use some good staples ( I recommend Solemn Judgment & Warning and Mirror Force as well ) but personally I always use a theme that allows cards to support each other . So as a random deck I'd give it 9/10 and as an overall playing deck 7 or 8 out of 10

Why are these megadeth and maiden albums so hated?

Ok when it comes to megadeth,everybody says killing is my bisuness sucked when its a thrash metal classic.Just listen to rattlehead,chose ones and the mechanix and tell me how its sucked,the only bad song was the "these boots" cover.Risk was hated because it had the audacity not to be metal.I definatly like the classic megadeth sound better but it was refreshing to see megadeth explore industrial.There is plenty of good songs on that highly underated cd including insomnia,breadline,seven,time the beggining and end.I hate how people trash bands when they change there sound and the music doesnt suck.When metallica tried to be hillbillies on load and reload I hated those albums because the music sucked,not because they tried to be different.With iron maiden,i believe that maiden ceased being a great band after the 80s but the x factor and virtual 11 are rock solid albums.Everyone hates these albums because blaze bailey and not bruce dickenson is the vocalist but the same people love the paul dianno albums so thats pretty stupid dont you think?

Enishi/Chaos Sorcerer vs. A Hero Emerges/resetting attacks?

Let's say, my opponent has a clear field (at least for monsters). I have a card along the lines of Enishi, Shien's Chancellor or Chaos Sorcerer - cards that can only activate their effects if they don't attack. If I attack with that monster, and they activate A Hero Emerges - or any sort of effect that resets an attack to allow it to attack again/differently/not at all. Does this still count as that card attacking? To my understanding, the rulings state that I can choose, say, not to attack with that monster, I can attack with a different monster, and then again with the first monster. So, could I theoretically attack with Enishi, and my opponent successfully Emerges a stronger monster, call off the attack, go to Main Phase 2, and activate Enishi's effect? Or does the reset declaration still count as an attack? If the former is true, could this extend to things such as Swift Scarecrow, Battle Fader, negate Attack, etc? In this situation, I do not think it wold apply, since the attack is negated rather than undone. Are there any official rulings, or do we just have to use the sheer force of logic to argue which ruling applies?

This deck doesn't seem to have any coordination. I'd focus more on either the Dragunity part of it or the E-HEROs. That's just me. Also, if Trap Reclamation does what I think it does, then I'd switch it out for a Mask of Darkness. Mausoleum would hurt your life points and you don't have anything that can bring those lost life points back. Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird is a pretty useful card in that situation. Monster Reincarnation should be switched out for Monster Reborn since the prior only brings the card to your hand and you need to discard a card.

I am watching a company's (PCLN for example) hourly chart, and at 1:30 pm it's trading at ~$487, only to be down to ~$483 two hours later. What is the difference between a low-ported curb bit and a wide-ported curb bit?

Ok, so there are a few differences that i see in these. The first is on the wide ports the middle arch is wider and lower than the low ports. The low ports are way higher in the middle. Also, you can see in each of these pictures, when you clip the reigns on, they are each going to have a different pull on the horse's mouth. The first (the low port) is just going to rock back and forth in the horse's mouth. The second one (the first wide port) Is going to have a little bit more affect on the sides of the mouth. And the last one, well it seems the harsher of the three. It has a place for a curb strap to go, and the way that its angled, if you want the curb strap to say something instead of just sit there like they do on some bits.... it will! Also it will give you more control than the others. If your looking for something to just switch into for a little while to give your horse the experience, i would use either the first one (the low port) or the second (the first wide port). Try to just lock yourself in your room and put headphones on listen to music and avoid them, this stuff happens to me all the time except i have 2 older siblings, and i am in my teens also i just learned to avoid them and they'll eventually just give up and stop annoying you. i know you're not supposed to fight back so talk back try to just talk to your parents without raising your voice its going to be hard but so worth it, let them know you dont like when your brother hits you. and tell them how you feel.

What woul the proper settings be to run rear 6x9s off of a two channel amp?

Im just looking for clear music that sounds good at higher volumes. I have 2 clarion 6x9s that are 350 watts. These are my rear speakers. Buddy gave me a set of 4x6 80 watt Sony explodes for my front door speakers. I saw a small 2 channel amp for cheap so figure it could power my 6x9s. Now here's the problem... When I plug my RCA cables Into the rear/sub output on my deck (kdc-mp2035 kenwood) it seems the vocals are rather quite. Although if I plug the RCA cables into the front output it sounds proper. The problem with plugging my 6x9s into the front output is the fader feature no longer allows me to put more power to the rear, so at higher volumes the front 4x6s distort. So all in all I can only seem to get the amp and 6x9s running off the front speaker input instead of my rear output, forcing my to have to run all my speakers from the front outputs

Accident ticket dismissed. Can other party still use police report against me in civil court?

Florida: I was in a sideswipe accident and was given the ticket. In my opinion, I was not at fault. My insurance company told me that the other party hired a lawyer and is filing suit against my policy. I volunteered to go to traffic court, and I went this week. The ticket was dismissed because the other car's occupants did not show up to testify as witnesses for the cop. I know that insurance companies and lawyers do their own investigations and that whether I paid the ticket (aka plead guilty) or not may not necessarily be allowed to be entered as evidence in civil court, but can the other party still use the police report as leverage against me? okay so back in april i enlisted in the army reserves and had been caring for our daughter since my husband and i split back in june 09.. he took summers with me having school years (verbal agreement) .. may 2010 in nj court court granted him that summer and this one exception of the school year so i could fulfill milit. obligations. i went down to arkansas where the father has been residing since our split in 09 and 48 hrs until me and our lil girl were to fly back home to jersey (where she's been residing for the past 3 to 4 years school, extensive family on my side) he hit me with an emerg. custody order from arkansas! The courts here in nj are telling me they don't have jurisdiction since she's been there more than 6 months... that was the whole reason of going to court back in may 2010 before he took her for the summer, and i was granted primary residential custody having joint custody between us. He is angry because i didnt want to stay in Lil Rock and also filed for divorce even tho we've been seperated for over 2 years already! Is it possible for the transcripts from our court hearing to be legally binding in the Arkansas jurisdiciton? Besides that, he's got extensive mental instability, substance abuse which i found out he's been in outpatient rehab on suboxone for the last year while having our child, and the living conditions he has her in are not up to my standards.. he shares a bed with her (she's 6) because she said she wanted to!! He also told his court he's unemployed but works at a place called Cupid's and at times when he can't find a sitter, he brings our minor child into the store and she hangs out in the back on the computer...still very much subjected to the obsenities throughout the store. I feel my court is doin me dirty and i can get all sorts of proof as far as terrible things he'd done prior to our split and him moving back in 09 .. arrests, crisis center stays and substance abuse then and restraining orders for fear of our lives. First off I've noticed a few monarchs; I like to use trap monsters such as Zoma the Spirit and Embodiment of Apophis with them as it makes a very good combo not to mention those traps can also be used for a synchro summon. I also noticed that you're not running a Monster Reborn or a Call of the Haunted, those are a must. Also with the tuners you have it wouldn't hurt to throw in some synchro monsters like Stardust. Tear Shed Down After or Before Closing?

Last time I had my home for sale, the agent leveraged repair items on me to lower my price. hi. I hate to be on here asking this question but I need answers and this is where there are supposed to be answers! When I met my husband he had just finished with an ugly divorce and had a young son. We were just friends at first and he used to tell me about how his ex wife was very neglectful to their son and how he was always the one taking care of him. He told me about how he suspected that she had "mental problems" and about how she left him and stole his son from him. He really played himself out to be the victim and I believed him and felt sorry for him. We were both in the military and after being friends for about 6 months we started dating and it wasn't long after we moved in together. At first there were some things that seemed off about his behavior (clinginess and pushiness) but I figured it had to be because of how he was hurt in his last marriage. We had two little boys of our own after about a year. Well after we both got out of the military we moved to the state he was from for his son and that is when things changed. I wanted us to get a place right away but he insisted that we should stay at his moms for a couple weeks until we found one versus picking one before we got there. Once we started staying at his moms all hell broke lose! He became very rude and sarcastic to me around his family and I caught him talking badly about me to his family. Two weeks came and he tells me that he wants to buy a house and we should stay at his moms until we can close on one (mind you he is unemployed and had been for a year at that point). I told him I didn't feel comfortable buying a house when I haven't even learned the area yet. Weeks went by and his behavior towards me only got worse. Everything seemed to be about him and every time that expressed my needs or feelings I was told I was "nagging him" or giving him a "guilt trip". He started telling me that he thought I had a "mental" problem and that I should go to the doctor. I knew I didn't have a mental problem and that it was his behavior that was making me feel depressed. One day he tells me that he is going to have me committed when I told him I was tired of being treated the way he treated me. I told him that I was not "crazy" and that if this was how I was going to be treated then I didn't know if I wanted to be with him. He told me to leave his mothers house and told me that I couldn't have the children! Mind you I came to this state with no family or friends for his child and him so I had nowhere to go! I apologized to him so that he wouldn't kick me out and waited til the next day and ran with the children back to the state where I'm from! He tried to file a "protective order" against me for the kids stating that I was mentally unstable and that I was a danger to them. We started a custody battle. Well my dumb a** started to believe him when he told me that he had changed and that me and the boys should go back. We went back because I hoped that there was still hope for our marriage! Big mistake! Its been six months that we have been at his mothers and he shows no interest in us moving out! Him and his family talk down to me like I'm a dog everyday and undermind me as a parent to my children. Every time I tell him that I am not ok with being treated this way he tells me that I have a "mental" problem and tries to get to me to go to the doctor! I think he is just trying to get leverage over me in the event of a custody battle and I'm scared! I can't leave him because I have no family anymore and I don't have any way to support the children and he plays dirty and he would never let me have my belongings or the children if he could help it! How do I stop my little boy drinking tups/paint thinner?

I am a single dad bringing up a 7 year old (Adam). My wife left us last month but we are making the most out of a terrible situation. What I see right off the bat is the 1x Battle Fader. If your going to run him, truthfully he's a beast at 3 at 1 is just a waste in just having him in there. I would go for 2x Krebons just because your luck into drawing into him isn't all that high at 1. Try and take out 1x dark tinker, 1x Junk Synchron, 1x Armageddon Knight, x1 Doom Lord. Same thing with the Battle Faders. Armageddon Knight at 3 works it gives you more to pitch from your deck to grave. Try running 2x Card troopers to start getting your grave set up. Try using 2x Dark Creator? This deck has the potential to be a good Dark Deck over all even though it's a Kaiba deck.

2011 Altima stock radio question?

I just purchased a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5 sedan. Since the base model doesn't come with a radio, I had the dealer install one as part of the sale. It's the standard radio that comes in the 2.5S model. The car comes with 2 speakers in the dash and 2 in the door. They are controlled by the front fader. There are no rear speakers. The deck is prestamped to handle 6x9's and it appears to be wired as well. Could someone verify that, and tell me the polarity of the color coding? Also what is the correct impedance of the speakers that I should install? I'm not a kid, so the goal is not to end up with a loud, thumping sound system. My main concern is impedance matching the stock system. There doesn't seem to be any readily available documentation for that. Thank you.

Benz 190e speakers cut out ?

My rear speakers don't work anymore outta nowhere and im pretty sure they're not blown. I took out the deck to make sure the cables were straight and they are all plugged up at the right spots. I checked the back speakers to and they were all plugged fine. The fader switch (which controls the sound output emphasis from the front or rear) is the only piece that I think could be malfunctioning and halfway broke, since it can still switch the fade. My front right speaker is workin kind of fine and the sub still works.

I actually abhor what NATO is doing to Libya, because in the end there will just be a pile of rubble where Libya once stood. And that is not good for the suffering population of Libya whichever side they are on. That is the futility of air strikes. I can change the bar and stuff but i cant leave it out for more than like 15 minutes without it beginning to close. What should i do if a car dealer lied to me?

so i bought a 1999 deville from a dealer.. i had told them i didn't want an auction car, a salvage car, a lease, or a car that had been in any collisions.. so basically all i wanted was a personal trade in. ok so i called this dealership and they said they had exactly what i wanted.. they gave me a history report from "Autocheck" and everything checked out.. so less than 2,000 miles and 2 months later my "service transmission" and "service engine" lights came on about 2 days apart. Now i went to AAMCO and they said it will take 2500-3600 to fix what was wrong with the car and that it was kind of strange that there was so much wrong with the car at 74,000 miles.. so, following gut wrenching feeling, i bought the CARFAX on the car.. turns out it was a rental and had been in 3 collisions! THREE!! and both wheel hubs had to be replaced along with other front end parts.. (mad now) i also bought the "autocheck" report.. none of the collisions showed up, BUT they had edited it to show that it was NOT an auction car, which they knew would have turned me away.. question is, what do i do now? do i have any legal leverage here? fraud case? should i tell them to give me my down payment back and take back the car and terminate the loan? im so mad and confused.. Why am i always hungry ?

well i've been powerlifting for about 2 years now and well i went from weighing 132 @ 4'11" to weighing 211 @ 5'6" .which people have not been able to believe they think i'm on something like steroids but i just eat alot i think i just have the genetics to build up really fast and i have great leverages for lifting must also be why i've been able to grow so much because i can lift more easier ... and i'm at a rather low bodyfat for not doing much cardio around 15% but ever since i started powerlifting i've gotten really hungry like i can eat to the point of bursting and then 4 hours later i'm hungry again and i can repeat the process but i choose to just eat every couple of hours but i get really hungry is it just due to the fact that my body is doing all this extra work and needs more calories and nutrients or something else ....i've always been hungry all the time but not like this ..i'm wondering if my stomach digesting food this fast is a bad thing or just normal of powerlifting

Not that good unfortunately, Jinzo alone would shut down this deck. This deck is missing important pieces that would help it beat decks. Solemn Warning/Judgement, would be a good addition, Dark Hole, Mystical Space Typhoon, Spirit Reaper (for stalling), Monster Reborn (for when you need that monster to block), and Barrel Behind the Door (for when you damage your own life points), would all be good additions.

I've made a home made DJ mixing board before, out of some sheets of acrylic, plywood, laser cutter/heat gun, some paint, knobs, transistors/capacitors and wires I purchased from Radio Shack. Hello. I am a single father of two beautiful children who I have custody of. My children and I went through a brutal divorce. I know, all of them are brutal. I was married for 19.5 yrs. I put my ex through nursing school while I was in the Navy. After I got off of active duty I moved back home. It was in our 5th year that we had our first child. Shortly after that I realised that my ex was having an affair. Well we separated for about 6 months. My ex wouldn't sign the divorce papers and we ended up getting back together. We got back together after we realised we were going to have a second child. Well here it is 19 yrs later and I am divorced. My ex was married less than a month later to the same doctor she had the affair with 19 years ago. I have a few questions. I live in Fl and my ex moved to NY. I am unemployed due to my ex. My ex is married to an e.r. doctor who is the director or assistant director of that er. My ex is an er nurse. Their household income has to be close to 500k. I do not receive child support. I kind of used it as leverage to get her to leave the kids. I stated that she has a chose, stay here in Fl and she would get custody or move to Ny and be with her boyfriend. She choose her boyfriend. Her exact words to the children were, "with or without you I'm leaving." I went to my attorney and stated that I wanted to ask for child support now. I'm taking on a lot for only receiving unemployment. My attorney stated that because my ex was so aggressive and has more money to piss away I should just let it go.She stated that my ex would probably just keep running up the legal fees and the those fees will probably out weigh what my children are awarded in child support.
